NSU Motorenwerke AG, or often simply abbreviated to NSU, the automotive manufacturer from Germany. The company manufactures automobiles, motorcycles, and bicycles. Founded in 1873. NSU was founded as a manufacturer of knitting machines in the city Riedlingen, the Danube in 1873, and later moved to Neckarsulm. 1886, the company began producing bicycles, they give the brand of "Germania", and in 1892 they replaced the bike companies knitting machine production. They began using the name NSU (combination of the Neckar and Sulm).

NSU began producing its first motorcycle in 1901, followed by the first production car in 1905.

Alfa Romeo

A company that became the forerunner of today's Alfa Romeo was founded as Darracq Italiana Societa Anonima (SAID) in 1906 by a Frenchman named Alexandre Darracq, along with several investors from Italy. Stands for the acronym "SEAT" means Sociedad Española de Automoviles de Turismo (Spanish Company for Car Cruise), and pronounced "SE-AT."
